3.Tension control
(1)Power transmission
Tension is controlled on both sides of the driven pulley shaft as (a). There is also type (B) where center distance is fixed and a tensioner is used. (c) is not recommended except for special cases. When the tentioner is on the outside of the belt, the belt bends outward, while it bends inward when it goes around pulleys. Both inward and outward bending brings much stress on the belt.

(2)Conveyance
